Một vài suy nghĩ về tác phẩm tự tử của Durkheim trong bối cảnh văn hóa - xã hội hiện đại qua những dữ liệu thực nghiệm

Durkheim’s “Suicide” is one of the classics of sociology. It is not only the historical value because it helped locate the object of study of sociology in its infancy, but also because of Durkheim’s ideas about the influence of social forces on behaviours of people. The perspective is still one of the pillars and makes up the uniqueness of contemporary sociological theory. Even so, for almost 100 years, Durkheim’s statements about the four types of suicide have always faced the test of sociologists. In spite of these unrelenting challenges, Durkheim’s perspective on types of suicide stands still and exhibits a huge potential for application and development. The aim of the article is the review of the studies by several previous authors in the United States, in France, the European Union, Iran and Vietnam who evaluated the reliability of Durkheim’s statements.
